Well lets see here...where should I start...umm...I'm 30 years old and I have been married to the most wonderful human being in the universe for 11 years now. I have one kiddo whom is 10 almost 11, but is going on 21. He is usually my camera man for videos that I cant do on my lap top and he will also be helping us review kid stuff. (and probably be the victim of quite a few practical jokes.)
I have a border collie/husky/Great pyrenees/mutt dog named Apollo, whom is horribly ADHD and enjoys eating his own vomit. He also loves to escape and wreak havoc in the neighborhood any chance he can get, which seems to be more often than not. You will be seeing him quite a bit and he will also have a role in helping us review dog products and even Bark Box!
I have a cat named Vermin, whom is horribly OCD and hates pretty much everything. Yes you read that right he's has some serious OCD problems. He cant stand closed doors or cabinets and paws at them just to get them open, yet usually never goes inside once said door is opened. He paws at mirrors to unfog them after a shower. He meows at the door for you to open it even though there is a perfectly good cat door right beside him. He also sleeps all day, so unless I go find him, you wont be seeing much of him. He's an asshole, but I love him to death.
I graduated from Culinary school back in 07 and have my associates degree in culinary arts. I have done almost every position in a restaurant from dish washer, bartending, hostessing, prepping, and even being an executive chef. Currently, I'm taking a break from the restaurant biz because I'm burnt out and not exactly sure if I want to continue on or do something else entirely. (I'm also trying to get knocked up, but more on that later.) My favorite thing to do culinary wise is baking and pastry. Mmmmm sugar....*drools*
Hmmm...what else....Oh! My hobbies! Yes I have lots of hobbies! Gaming (both computer and console), cooking (obviously), saving money (yes I will be blogging about that!), archery, gardening, partying (what? I consider it a hobby...) building and repurposing things, being crazy and or doing crazy shit, hiking, treasure hunting, and driving my son and husband bananas. (I'm really good at that.) I highly enjoy trying new things/products/services which is why I'm so excited to be starting this blog with the coolest chick on this planet, Dawn!
I'm the kinda girl who's not afraid to get down and dirty and cleans up nicely later on. Yes, as a child I was a total tomboy. It was in my older years I discovered I kinda somewhat like girly things. I love the colors hot pink and royal purple. I love skulls, Hello Kitty, cartoons, comic books characters, video games, peanut butter, CHOCOLATE, cats, bats, nature, adrenaline, glitter, water, flowers, anime, bugs, parties, seasons, events, concerts, arts and crafts, dirt, stars, beer, conditioner, smelly stuffs, COFFEE, and like a trillion other things I could sit here and name, but you would die from all the awesomeness that is I. (I'm pretty darn silly and extremely corny too.) Oooh, and very opinionated, which is why I wanted to start blogging in the first place! (Also because I felt the need to fill a void in today's blogs....but more on that later.)
As far as my beauty profile goes, I'm a combination of sorts. I have very straight and fine hair. There is a lot of it, but it doesn't really like to do much unless I use like a bazillion products on it and more hairspray than chewbacca used during his senior prom at Wookiee High. My natural hair color is mousy brown, and I haven't seen my natural color since I was 12 nor do I ever plan on it. It's extremely oily on top and very dry on the ends. I usually have to wash my hair every day or every other depending on how oily it gets. My skin is combination. Very oily in the T-zones and very dry in other places. I break out on my face around that time of the month, but other than that it's normally pretty clear. My greatest skin care concern is wrinkles, and I will be reviewing A LOT of anti-aging products. I wear make-up every day and prefer loud dramatic looks on weekends, and much simpler looks during the week. I'm a nail polish freak! I LOVE COLOR and being colorful.
